Masa Frita was very tender and split apart just by tapping it. Too bad I have to drive way up here just to have it again. The wings were better than average. Didn't try the empanadas but seems like this place is good for those. Dine-in is available, not just a to-go place. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Sooooo good!!! I found this place by accident and I'm so happy I did. The yucca is so good and the empanadas are absolutely delicious, not greasy at all, flavorful, and fresh the price is also great. My boyfriend and I are obsessed
First time going to Lunitas To-Go is a small hidden gem in Houston, this place has the best Empanadas & wings the food is made with authentic, care, loving, ingredients, it's crispy, hot & fresh just above & beyond. Wow!! Found this place and wasn't disappointed at all, even my picky husband was super amazed. We ordered beef, chicken, cheese pineapple and frenc fries, let me tell you everything was so so tasty, the fries so on point. And the salsa for the empanadas make everything better!! You definitely need go to try.
Best masa fritas ever and tostones. Everything else is good too . Fresh and hot, ready to go. No real dining ambience as such, I’ve never eaten there, but if you’re grabbing a quick bite it doesn’t matter. Food particularly good on weekends. Love this place.
If you've never been here before, you're missing out on some amazing food!! Hands down one of the best empanadas I've ever tried in Houston! The food is freshly made, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. My go-to items are the beef empanadas and masa frita, but the chicken empanadas and others are also really tasty. If you go into the restaurant you'll also see this awesome photo on their wall with a astronaut on top of empanadas lol (bravo to whoever made that). The employees there are also super nice and very sweet. Definitely check it out!
Ok so I've come here before for empanadas only but today my daughter and I decided to get the platter witch has every thing on the menu except for the rice and beans. Baby let me tell you something. This platter is everything!!! All freshly prepared with delicious sauces. Definitely recommend this! This platter can easily feed 4 people.
